1. ENR (Ecclesiastical Endorsement)
Continuing Ecclesiastical Endorsement Hold: Online Option
Work with LDS leadership. The email needs to come directly from the priesthood leader and not from you.
For applicant endorsements, your first interview can be with your own clergy if desired, but this is not the case for continuing endorsements.
If your leader can work through the current system:
Click on this link: https://www.ensign.edu/continuing-endorsement
Click "Online Endorsement"
Select "Student"
Choose "CONTINUING/CURRENTLY ENROLLED"
Click on the Ensign College icon and fill out the form.
International Students:
First try the online option. If unavailable, use the paper option.
Paper endorsements must be mailed by the bishop in a sealed envelope to the address included on the endorsement page: https://www.ensign.edu/continuing-endorsement.
Ecclesiastical Endorsement Hold: Paper Option
Submit the updated endorsement using the Continuing Student Ecclesiastical Endorsement Form to: registration@ensign.edu
For Students in Nepal or Pakistan:
Provide the following information via email:
Bishop or Branch President's name
Unit #
Student's name
Ensign College ID (found in the portal)
Send this to Dean of Students, Adam Garland: adam.garland@ensign.edu
If your leader is having trouble, provide them with these instructions:
Access the link: https://www.ensign.edu/continuing-endorsement
Click "Online Endorsement"
Select "Leader"
Follow the instructions provided.
2. TE-FEES (Outstanding Balance)
There is an outstanding balance on your account. The hold will be removed once the balance is paid in full.
Contact the Cashier's Office for assistance.
Note: You can attend registered classes, but this hold blocks new registrations.
3. TE-PAYMN (Payment Plan Hold)
This hold occurs when there is an outstanding balance. It will be removed once payment is complete.
Contact the Cashier's Office for help.
4. SF (Suspension Follow-up Hold)
This hold indicates an unresolved outstanding balance.
It will be lifted once payment is processed. Contact the Cashier's Office for support.
5. AC (SUSP) Suspended
Academic Suspension results from not meeting the minimum semester GPA of 2.0 for two semesters.
Contact the Student Success Center to discuss requirements and next steps.
6. SDC (Math Placement Test)
You lack a valid math placement score, transfer credit, or test record.
Contact the Student Success Center. This hold will be removed after completing the math test.
7. Old Holds
ENR-PLCMNT: Math Placement Test
Contact the testing center to schedule your placement test.
AC-ACST: Academic Suspension
If suspended for failing to meet GPA requirements, contact the Student Development Office for guidance.
